ORIGIN
Appellation: Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru AOP
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Soil: Clay limestone soil
Vineyard
These vineyards cover the hilly slopes of Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. There are only four Premier Crus Pinot Noirs: “Les Fichots”, “En Caradeux”, “Creux de la Net”, “Iles des Hautes et Basses Vergelesses”.
WINEMAKING
Grapes from our estate being in organic conversion (the wine will be certified by FR-BIO-10 bureau veritas from the 2023 vintage). Produced according to traditional vinification, alcoholic fermentation and aging take place in oak barrels, 25% of which are new. 10 months are necessary for the aging of this wine. Bottling is then done on the “fruit” day of December 2021, according to the biodynamic calendar. About 5500 bottles were produced.
