ORIGIN
APPELLATION: Medoc AOP
GRAPE VARIETIES: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Malbec and Petit Verdot.
WINE-MAKING
The grapes are hand-picked. The wine is traditionally vinified using steel vats at controlled temperature for 2 to 3 weeks. Once mature, the wine is bottled at the estate.
TASTING NOTES
A shiny, dark red colour with crimson tints with a powerful and complex bouquet with a dominant aroma of red berries, plums and blackcurrant, toasted and vanilla notes. On the palate it is well structured with powerful tannins. The wine finishes on light red berry aromas and liquorice notes.
FOOD MATCH
It is perfect with grilled red meats and meat casseroles, game and cheese.
